Stone Pacific was founded in 2018 by Joe Nasta and Rizzy Simmons. Joe led the charge and acted as head curator, while assistant curator Rizzy guided the zine in new directions towards exciting artists he found on Instagram and discovered in the maritime industry. As the publication grew, Joe began taking on guest curators for different issues who added their unique backgrounds and perspective to the zine, which pushed our boundaries in really exciting ways. Guest curators to date have included Erick de León, Sami Ridge, Cass Garison, john compton, and Andrew Rader Hanson.
