Anna Suarez

A PHANTOM

Grasping-

the sharp sounds &

the little stars

gold dust and fire.

My fingers move to him

and suddenly it’s my whole body.

Bite a pill in half

rose shimmer

ascending from

my chest.

yet battle,

light to blindness.

my truths

the steady streams of

moonlight

reflecting on the ripple

ever changing,

rising from

the weeping willows

& into celestial

cemeteries.

In the early morning

light reminds me

of my infinite lives

& Autumn, the

sweet phantom.
